My Story
Having loved an 18-year career in Human Resources consulting, management and advisory functions, I gained a unique tool kit of expertise and knowledge through contracting roles over a wide range of industry sectors including: Manufacturing, Government, Scientific, Communications, Energy and Technology.
Although Human Resource best practice is standard, the implementation varied significantly depending on the unique spoken and unspoken values of an organisation and the resources available.
I enjoy establishing relationships in order to gain an understanding of business needs and the strategic direction which is rarely static.
Over a seven-year period, I stepped out of my comfort zone and undertook some personal development study, and landed in the small town Redding, California, implementing the Collective Impact model addressing Poverty and Trafficking. Complex societal issues are rarely addressed in one silver bullet, but it is in the wisdom and experience of collective groups coming together for the purpose of the greater good, much may be accomplished.

During this time, I was exposed to Coaching, and through training with a Coaching founding Father, I witnessed a person’s life transformed over one coaching moment.

Upon my return to New Zealand, I took the opportunity to complete the highest level of Coaching Certification in accordance with the International Coaching Federation and became a Master Certified Coach through Coach Masters Academy.

In my spare time, I love cooking, going to the gym (to compensate for my love for food), and gardening.
